Josh Johnson will be taping a new comedy special at The Bourbon Room in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 12. The first show at 7:30pm has SOLD OUT and a second show has now been added at 10pm (TIX HERE).

Johnson had a successful 2021 with acclaim from The New York Times, Variety, SPIN, Consequence, and more regarding his Comedy Central special Trevor Noah Presents Josh Johnson # (Hashtag) and music/comedy mixtape Elusive. He was on the ‘Best of 2021’ lists of NPR, Paste, and Vulture and most recently released Channel Black - an audio journey that showcases the best in contemporary black comedic talent alongside historical black activists and thought leaders.

Johnson is a stand-up, writer, and performer from Louisiana by way of Chicago. He is currently a writer on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah and is a former writer and performer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where he made his late-night debut.

On-screen, Josh has appeared on CONAN, Comedy Central when he released his half-hour and hour specials, and Netflix as part of The Comedy Lineup.
